Colors, shapes and textures have been part of my vocabulary for a long time. Art as a language is of immense value to me and has been increasingly present in my projects. In the beginning, painting occupied a more intimate space, since the productions spoke about me and to myself, in an almost therapeutic way. Art in education and education through art was the bias I chose to bring art, as a language, to as many people as possible. A beautiful, thought-provoking, challenging and immensely satisfying work. But, as time went by, my production spoke louder and louder, gaining more strength and establishing dialogues with the outside world.
Through painting, the use of multiple techniques and the production of ceramic pieces, I present my way of seeing and being in time and space.
I want my artwork to be an invitation to awaken new sensations, instigate the look, promote reflections and new connections. The work on the wall can be enjoyed over and over again and that each time it touches the viewer differently. The work, when revised, can always offer some new detail to keep the flame of conversation between art and those who admire it burning. My desire for aesthetic experiences, and respect for what is unique, also led me to research the production of utilitarian ceramic pieces. If the environment in which we live in has an exclusive, personalized and beautiful touch, we are giving value to the space that welcomes us. I believe that the environment speaks a lot about those who inhabit it, at the same time that it interferes with their well-being. In this sense, offering possibilities for care and reception motivates me to always invest more in this environment.
